Primary Responsibilities

  • The Financial Analyst will oversee the financial analysis for all ABODA divisions of ABODA. The Financial Analyst will maximize the financial performance of the company by analyzing data, developing and implementing effective revenue and expense management programs and strategies. They will work closely with Senior Management to develop investment and operating pro-forma’s as well as providing analysis and guidance in forecasting, pricing and staffing models. This position will also work closely with the accounting and CRM teams to develop reporting, dashboards and business analytics for both internal and external use
  • Develop Annual budgets with COO/CFO and Senior Management
  • Maximize and track ABODA’s companies financial status on a daily basis
  • Oversee the pricing models and provide revenue analysis by account, vertical and region.
  • Improve financial status by analyzing and interpreting P&L results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.
  • Prepare (within excel, SQL report writer and Power BI, spreadsheets, graphs and charts to help illustrate financial trends.
  • Prepare monthly P&L Variance reports by division and work with Senior Management on production of monthly Executive Summary
  • Determines cost of operations by establishing standard costs; collecting operational data.

  • Compile data for RFP responses
  • Conduct Internal Audits to insure complete billing, consistency in sales and efficiency in the model.
  • CEO, Executive and BOD reporting
  • Assist IT manager when needed
  • Assist Accounting Manager when needed

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications

  • Finance -Strong understanding of accounting theory and accounting systems. Must be able to read, understand and analyze financial statements and other internal financial reports. -Able to analyze monthly profit and loss statements for discrepancies, variances and errors. -Able to make recommendations to management on improving the company’s reporting systems.
  • Technology -Comfort with technology, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamic CRM, MAS 90, Power BI, Microsoft Word, Excel Outlook, PowerPoint, , GoToMeeting type applications and Skype. -Is creative and enthusiastic with technological concepts and can work to develop and improve upon processes as the technology is introduced and improved.
  • Planning -Strong strategic analysis, analytical abilities, project planning, problem solving and organizational skills. -When solving problems or planning, resist complexity and remember the basics. -Able to think quickly, see the big picture and to “think outside of the box”. -Knowledgeable and experienced in a wide variety of disciplines. -Able to anticipate and react proactively in a constantly changing environment. -A results-oriented, pro-active decision maker who has the ability to analyze systems and personnel situations, assess the alternatives and make appropriate decisions, quickly and efficiently
  • Organization -Self-motivated. -Solid time-management skills, ability to schedule day-to-day tasks efficiently and effectively and to prioritize issues and delegate as required. -Detail oriented.

Education, Training and Certification

  • 4 year college degree required, with an emphasis in finance or accounting
  • Chartered Financial Analyst certificate preferred
